DT12450N Short-Leg Failure Analysis & DTSD12340N Dual-Tactile Solution

A control panel and have of DT12450N as production stock, with a small portion already used. As mentioned in our previous , we found that some domes are malfunctioning during testing. We once consulted your sales manager, and the reply is as shown in the picture. It turns out that the occasional failure of the buttons on our control panel is indeed caused by the defects of DT12450N. Moreover, after multiple optimization designs on the control panel, we found that this problem still cannot be solved.

This issue will directly lead to the failure of product buttons and make the quality control of the products produced by our company unstable. Our request is to return this batch of DT12450N, or replace them with compatible domes of stable quality, such as DTSD12340N.

These are not defective domes. They just serve different purposes, as that description I sent in a previous states. It is not that the domes are defective, it is that the wrong product was ordered, as you mentioned the DTSD is working for what you are trying to accomplish correct? That is what should have been purchased to begin with. After speaking with the engineering team they confirmed that yes the DTSD was created to maintain dual touch through the press. After speaking about this further with the VP of engineering, they confirmed what I had preciously mentioned.
